Thank you for visiting this page,
I am truly pleased that you would like to learn more about my story and photography journey. The best place to start is always the very beginning before I had even turned my hand to professional photography.
I started photography as a hobby, roughly around 2004 and I have been hooked ever since. When I got my first camera, it came with me everywhere I went, much to the annoyance of my friends and family of course. I remember spending countless hours practising, researching and learning about how the camera worked, rules of composition, lighting etc…
My abilities with the camera had gone a long way in a short time, however the pivotal moment for me was when I was lucky enough to meet and befriend Andrew Mclean, an accomplished and unfortunately now retired professional photographer. With Andrews guidance and decades of knowledge, I began delving deeper into many of the intricacies of photography.
It was only a matter of time until I began doing it professionally, I started off my career by shooting events and nightlife which I used as a base to launch myself into other lines of photography work. To date I have shot a wide range of subjects to a vast list of ever changing requirements and creative ideas.
Although over time I settled down into specialising in the commercial and real estate sectors, I still continue to shoot portraits, weddings and event work. It would be fair to say that to this day, I still love every aspect of photography. Whether I am going to a friends birthday party, on holiday or even just a country walk, my cameras are always near by and ready to shoot.
I certainly hope you enjoy the sample images on display on my website. Please do take a look around and of course use the contact page to get in touch if you would like more information, samples or to enquire about making a booking.
